United Stars Football Club began life when a group of the Adeyemi College Of Education football team in Ondo decided to form a football team in 2004. The Club played under the name of Tee Cee Football Club. Their first match was a 2-0 victory over Genoas Wanderers, on December 19, 2004. Soon after, the name Royal Tee Cee was adopted and the Club continued playing in friendlies and local cup competitions for the next few years. In 2005, the Club turned professional and changed its name to United Stars, finally joining the Football League in 2005. The Stars moved to their current home at the College in 2006.
